Well done!

Your character animation has transformed from top-notch to bringing the notch up another level. I really like the subtle squiggle in the character outlines that keep the movie from feeling static at all. Great variety of shots, excellent voice work by Mr. Tomar, and a basic yet effective gag. Ready to see where your next film sets the bar!

MyKindOfFlash responds:

Thanks for noticing that! I feel it separates the characters from the background a tad and brings them to life that little bit more. Appreciate the review, Christopher. Congratulations on Pico's Destiny making front page too!

Your Roots

I am glad to see you go back to your roots in not only animation but also in writing and voice acting. You have certainly improved in all three areas since At The Restaurant. You have artistically made the most progress in conveying character expression smoothly. I think you have also successfully developed your own distinct style of animation design. It's nice to see new content by you, and I look forward to seeing Edwin Crosby as well as future, longer projects.

MyKindOfFlash responds:

Thank you for your warm and kind words.

:D

Very different from your other shorts.

I really enjoyed watching this, it shows your improvement not only as an animator but as a filmmaker and creative person in general. I felt that this particular video was a lot more cinematic than your previous movies, especially with the addition of music throughout. Overall, a job well-done!

BlakTornado responds:

Thanks man :)

I hope to try and make them all a little more cinematic. Obviously not over-kill but just a little. The style seems to work.

And I also thing there was a lot more humor in this one too... but considering this is my highest rated submission, I think I've done something right.

I'll take three!

It's quite a joy to see an Edwin Crosby short after such a long time! Thank you for releasing this, and keep up the amazing work!

Some of the best claymation on NG!

This animation was of a very high standard of quality, and the story was quite interesting. Your artistic ability with both photography and editing is something indeed!

BlakTornado responds:

Thanks man :)

Keeps me laughing.

You do such an amazing performance with facial expressions, I could not help but burst out in laughter each time you stretched that mad grin. Great job, sir!

Chrispy responds:

Why thank you very much!

Left me in laughs!

You developed a hilarious sequence to put this classic song to, and created very well-done transitions. The animation was fluid and pleasant to watch. I'm glad to see something new from you.

Loved it!

You did a very good job on this! I particularly enjoyed watching the interaction between characters, performed lively and well-written. The animation was spectacular, I'd expect nothing less from you. Great job overall, and I love the new intro!

BlakTornado responds:

Thanks :D

P.S. You're the first one that I know of to notice the new intro! haha.

Your best animation.

This is truly your most astounding piece of work so far. Not only was the superb animation and use of different angles effective, but this seemed to give an entirely new layer to the character of Salad Fingers. Your writing, acting, and skillful character animation perfects this into being my one of favorite pieces of moving art.

Your best one yet!

This is probably your most well-done movie yet; I especially loved the writing and the animation was superb, as always. You're getting better with every Clayground, and I'm highly anticipating your next short. Great work!

Oh lollipops, lollipops, all around!
